Oven / Stove FAQ’s:
Q: Why is my oven glowing red, but isn’t heating?
A: The red glow is coming from the glow bar, it glows to ignite the gas. If the igniter doesn’t reach the right temperature, the gas valve will not open. The igniter might need to be replaced.

Q: Why are my Jenn Air burners on my gas stove slow to light?
A: The air holes on the burner are probably clogged. The air holes help the pilot light the gas. Try cleaning them with toothpicks.

Oven / Stove Maintenance Tips:
When cleaning the broiler pan make sure to use non abrasive cleaning supply.  The control panel is normally painted metal , you can use non abrasive cleaners on these surfaces, but don’t spray directly on the control panel spray on cloth first. You normally need to replace your burner drips ever 2 to 3 years because they are very difficult to clean. When cleaning your oven on self cleaning mode make sure to create extra ventilation, because they will be a bad odor from the grease and food being burnt during this mode.
